Automated EWS/SAW Cladding system

New automatic electroslag cladding plant with our dealer CAYE  and ITW Miller Spain cooperation.

The plant it’s aimed at the continuous cladding of a ferrule previously assembled from single ferrules, minimizing the number of arrests in the process.

The cladding will be done by electroslag with two heads operating in parallel on two different circumferences of the trunk 

Each head is equipped with a torch capable of operating with strip (filler material) of 90 mm in width

The distance between the two heads is equal to half the length of the body and they will move rigidly during welding in parallel, but each will still be able to work independently and individually.
